Friends of the Delaware County Women’s Commission's mission is to promote full equality for women and girls in Delaware County. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3), nonpartisan membership organization that strives to empower women and girls and help them achieve their potential by promoting their full participation in the economic, political and social life of Delaware County. Each year, we:
- Identify and educate around timely issues to women and girls.
- Co-sponsor an annual event on women’s health and wellness with health care providers from around the county.
- Empower local women to develop their economic potential in partnership with BPW/PA for our annual WOMENomics® forum.
- Provide scholarships to women and girls in Delaware County.
